Beeville, Tx-  For the first time in the history of the Coastal Bend College Soccer Program, the Cougars have earned national recognition. In the most recent NJCAA Divsion I Soccer Rankings Coastal Bend currently owns the #11 nationally ranked spot. 

The Cougars are off off to a hot start this season, winning three games in a row. That feat marks another first for the program. Coastal Bend began the season by knocking off #13 Northeast Texas Community College on April 2nd with a 3-1 victory. CBC then routed Paris Junior College with a 8-0 win in Waco, Tx on April 6th for their second win. 

In their latest soccer match, the Cougars hosted #3 Tyler Junior College for a home match at Cougar Field. Coastal Bend would put away the top ranked Apaches in the second half with two goals from Owen Thomas. The Cougars went on to win the match, 3-0. 

Coastal Bend will have their slate full this week with Region XIV Conference matches against Jacksonville College on Wednesday, April 14th at 7:00 PM and #4 Louisiana State University- Eunice on Friday, April 16th at 4:30 PM.
